How to Get Perfectly Straight Hair
Want to achieve lustrous locks like some of Hollywood’s hottest stars? It can be done! Getting your hair super straight can be a difficult task, especially if it is quite curly. Hair expert Eric Gabriel demonstrates how you can do the impossible and tame that wild fluff!
In the video above, he takes one girl’s poofy strands from wiry to stick straight using a hair dryer, flat brush, and flat iron. The result? A glossy, sleek mane.
Here are Eric’s key steps for achieving super straight hair:
- When you hair’s damp, spray product in.
- With a flat brush, pull hair straight and blow dry it down to make it glossy.
- Blow dry the hair completely so that when you bring the flat iron to it, it’ll be dead straight.
- Make sure not to make the sections too tight to kink hair.
- When using a flat iron, glide it through quickly. You don’t want to fry the hair.
To achieve, Eric blow dried the hair straight before sectioning it off and taking to it with a flat iron. He uses the highest setting on a flat iron, and runs it rapidly through the hair, so as not to risk scorching.
